ONE Law Firm co‑hosted the “Sustainability and ESG Management Forum” on April 14, 2026, at Hana Square, Korea University, together with Korea University and the International ESG Association.

Held under the theme “Greenwashing and ESG: Global Trends and Corporate Responses,” the forum focused on global developments surrounding greenwashing and ESG, as well as corporate response strategies.

At the forum, Attorney Ji‑heon Oh, Head of the ESG Center at ONE Law Firm, delivered a presentation titled “Greenwashing Risks from a Legal Perspective.” He addressed key legal issues related to corporate ESG disclosures, compliance frameworks, and supply‑chain due diligence, and outlined the legal risks associated with greenwashing along with practical response strategies.

In his presentation, Attorney Oh emphasized that “Vietnam is one of Korea’s top three trading partners and the largest production base for Korean companies. As substantial policy shifts—such as energy transition—are expected beginning this year following the reappointment of Vietnam’s Party Secretary‑General, Korean companies need flexible yet strategic responses to leverage these changes from an ESG perspective.”

The forum brought together participants from academia, industry, and professional circles both in Korea and abroad to discuss the practical implementation of ESG, corporate strategy, and changes in the international business environment. In particular, ESG and corporate evaluation issues affecting Korean companies operating in Vietnam were highlighted as key agenda items.
